Prescott Christmas Lights Map
Find the best holiday light displays around Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Dewey-Humboldt, submitted by the neighbors who love them. Plan a route, grab some hot cocoa, and go see the lights.
How the map works
Every pin on this map is a holiday display submitted by a local resident, whether it’s their own house or a favorite on their street. We review each submission before it goes on the map, and we never show anyone’s name or email. Tap a pin to see a short description (and a photo, when one was shared), then use the directions link to plan your route. New displays are added through the season, so check back as December goes on.
Lights-touring etiquette
- Drive slowly and park legally. Don’t block driveways, mailboxes, or the street, and keep your headlights on while you’re moving (driving on parking lights alone after dark isn’t legal in Arizona); if you stop to look, pull fully to the curb first.
- Stay on the sidewalk. These are people’s homes, so admire from the street and keep kids and dogs off the lawns.
- Keep it neighborly. Most displays run evenings only; if the lights are off, the show is over for the night.
- Bundle up. December nights at Prescott’s elevation are cold, often below freezing after dark.
Don’t miss the Courthouse Lighting
Prescott is Arizona’s Christmas City, and the biggest light show in town is the Courthouse Plaza itself. The 72nd annual Courthouse Lighting is Saturday, December 5, 2026, the same day as the Christmas Parade, with music starting at 5 p.m. and the courthouse and more than 80 plaza trees lighting up at 6 p.m., followed by fireworks (event details; a free shuttle with parking runs from Yavapai College). For more lights, WildLights at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary runs Friday and Saturday evenings from November 27 through January 2 (6–9 p.m.). For the whole season, from the Holiday Light Parade (November 28) to Acker Night (December 11) and the New Year’s Eve Boot Drop, see our guide to Christmas in Prescott.
